Do I have anything to say?

I’ve tried blogging before, and I get into it for a while, but then seem to fade.  I think this has mainly because I always felt I needed to do it for someone else, and have a topic.  So I ended up trying to blog about gadgets, or technology, or what have you.

And that is ok if my career was blogging about those and could make an income from it, and research play with it day in day out.  Then I’d be able to have something to say constantly.  But, alas, much as I’d like to i can’t buy EVERY gadget that comes out. So I fall down on the job.

But I always do feel I have something to say, its just that most times its more my need to say it than any interest or expectation that anyone will see it, much less care.

So be warned, if you come here, you will see randomness, rants, puzzles (at least to me), personal stuff (eg: family, friends, my tastes in goat cheese).

But I do intend to write something everyday, as to me thats the only way I’ll manage to post regularly is if I make it a habit.

And for some reason I find myself wanting to.

Been a while

Since I blog on my personal website, I’ve not been using this much. But I do feel the need to post on off tech subjects from time to time, and have been passing it by recently.

So look for this to become a little more active.

Testing WordPress

Thinking about moving my personal site from Drupal to WordPress.  Why?

Well I actually prefer Drupal, but I don’t really use all the features, plus Drupal on GoDaddy’s shared hosting seems very slow, so wondering how WordPress would work instead.  We’ll see anyway.
